We're having cat traumas at the moment. Dipsy has been missing over a week. We are used to her going off for 2 or 3 days, but not usually this long. We've asked people to check sheds etc, and have our fingers crossed. Bumble is currently at the vets with a very sorry looking tail, likely a result of fighting, waiting to hear whether it requires surgery. Only the creaky 17 year old boy causing us no bother at the moment despite looking like he's on his way out for several years!

oh dear
these cat kids are a worry aren't they

I went to Pets at Home and bought a grew your own grass kit and err some err dreamies (3 different flavours as they were 20% off) and proper cat nip which I now need to read up how to actually use! Do you just scatter some on the floor for them to eat and play in

Mr Pix is home and Ozzy seems OK and didn't complain at being picked up so hopefully he was just unhappy this morning
I will keep my eye on him

I feel justified in my decision to not let Tilly into my room at night. Let her in this morning (not too early) and went back to bed myself as I've got the day off. She kept batting my feet when I moved them (the feet were under the duvet, she was on top)

Fingers crossed all is well with Ozzy.

We still have a tail, we also have a cone of shame which he can get off alarmingly quickly! We have to keep him in for 7 days, day 1 and he's already not very happy. He's definitely Mr Independent and used to coming and going as he pleases!

Still no sign of the girl cat.
