It ended up being a longer day than we'd expected, so in retrospect I probably have tried to harness train him in advance so he could have had a loo break or two. He didn't seem overly traumatised by the experience, though.

In the colder nights she comes and sits on me, me - not my husband or son when he's here, on my arm if I'm lying on my side, or on my chest if I'm on my back. I'll know when the weather has warmed up because she'll stop doing this.
