No. Don't go that route. She'll expect you to do it forever then!

Another FlipBelt fan. A soup herb bit of kit, easily big enough for a modern smartphone (I use an iPhone 6), plus the key clip, plus it will carry 5-6 gels and a wee first aid kit (*) for maras. Flippin great and thoroughly recommended. I thunk the retail for £25 but if you're passing through That Europe you could get one for €25 foreign money.

(*) first aid kit comprises plasters, compeeds, painkillers. Defibrillator, stretcher and air ambulance not included.

Yep, I wear a flipbelt too. I've spent a long time wearing an armband thing when using a small mp3 player, then went through a number of waist carry pocket products for when I needed to carry a little more, and when I changed over to the smartphone for music/podcasts instead of mp3 player. Flipbelt is where I've settled, it's good. Seems expensive for what it is, but it'll last years.

Great marketing guys. I'd never considered the need for one before, having previously used an armband for a smartphone (when I used that for run tracking), but ditched that when I got a proper watch. Always do worry that I could be out somewhere without contact, so let's give this flipbelt thing a try so I can take my phone too. Ordered!

The new iPhone SE is smaller than iPhone 6. About the same size as the iPhone 4.

I've got a Flipbelt and a Spibelt. Both very good in terms of holding stuff securely and not bounching or chafing but I vastly prefer the Spibelt. The Flipbelt looks nicer but the Spibelt is easier to take on and off.

Another flip belt fan - my new phone is quite a bit bigger - still fits, no bouncing, chafing - and you can bung in the wash with other kit :)

I've got a tiny simple old dumbphone for events where I might need to carry one.
