Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I missed ndellar on the Common but I had a lovely chat with Kuga afterwards. Top running, everyone. Can't wait for next year's race now.

Minardi I think I saw you as you were on that horrid out and back thing (yes, too crowded and not good at the end of a race). I was in C&C white vest and shouted "Go Fetch" at you!

Only criticisms of this race:
Need 4x as many portaloos
Water stations were VERY chaotic and bottles are always preferable
Out and back bit was extremely crowded running in opposite directions

The medal is humungus and almost rivals my Thunder Run medal!!

Love to meet so many Fetchies, Well done to everybody

Minardi – I hope you have arrived well to the ‘states’ ;)

RichHL - I also enjoyed our chat and I do not have so much trouble now to get down ;)

Ndellar – Someone shouted at me but I did not see who, if you shouted to a Shorty lady with sort hair was me :)

I also had problems in those last 3 miles, by my Garmin I did 2:20:47, but they sent me a message saying that my time was 2:21:57, I think this time was gun and not the chip

It was gun time. PowerJen says the chip time will come along later.

Well done Jen! (and everyone else) Yep I was not "Fetched up", red t shirt 2 white hoops. Rich I was to the side of you when I saw you so you'd almost have to be looking behind you to see me.

As i said, miles 10-11 across the common the crowding on the paths started to build, running space between 11-12 was awful felt really penned in and lost about 30 sec on that mile against all my other mile splits. It only got better after the Tesco bridge going back to the finish - had room to really motor. I don't see how they could change that other than changing the course which in all other respects I loved.

Would have come and said hello but my parents house is pretty close to the common so I stayed there till the last minute. Loo queues did look long!
