Dear all

The Combination Room lift has developed a major fault and is awaiting a specialist company to assess the work needed.

While the lift is out of action it does mean there will be limited access to the Combination Room as the only alternative route is through the Syndicate Room – a route which is only available when no meetings are booked. We will check the situation each day and let you all know when you can get into the Combination Room. I know this is not ideal but is hopefully better than a complete closure.

If you have bookings in the Syndicate Room that are no longer needed please cancel them or let Reception know and they will cancel them for you. This will enable as much access as possible.

Please be assured that Estates Division are doing all they can to get the work done and the lift back in use as soon as possible. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Best wishes
