Did [Company X] provide you with a scope document (separate from the quote) which details a bit further what the preventative maintenance is in a bit more detail?
Yes, they sent a separate document that they sent which repeats what the quote says again.
(Sigh. It isn't even the dumbest question in the list, nor the most annoying thing about it, which is that they've sat on this since NOVEMBER, and the list is the first sign of any action.)

This morning I'm more amused by a certain enormous company that has an excellent policy for making manuals available online. Particularly their very useful Basic User Manuals, all with very long names despite abbreviating everything they can.

Good morning
I am less happy to report today that the Combination Room lift isn’t working. We have placed an urgent call for the engineers and hope we can have it back in use soon.
There is no other way of accessing the room this morning, I will look at options for later in the day if it is not repaired by then.
I’ll update again when I know more – and many apologies for the lack of coffee!
