So we sent a booklet for printing and they butchered it while "improving" it. We sent them a list of changes that were almost all reversals of what they'd done and got a reply saying that they had no idea how all this had happened and would we "please except [their] apologies."
Mm. I have an idea how some of the very creative word substitutions and changes of key people's names might have happened.

Dear Colleague, The Building Management Team will be completing out annual vertical stack cleaning works throughout the building over the next 5 Saturdays commencing from 12th November 2022. These works will require access to risers and toilet areas throughout the building to enable access panels to be removed and cleaning equipment to be set up and operated to carry out the cleaning works. During these times some of the toilet facilities may be out of use while operatives are working in the area(s). Please be advised if you may be attending the building during these times of the works being undertaken. Thank you in advance for your co-operation while these works are being completed.

Dear all
Some of you may have noticed the equipment being set up in the Senate House Yard ready for a sound and projection event – CARNIVAL! - taking place this week.
The Cambridge Music Festival event sees the Neo-classical facade of the Senate House illuminated with stunning images of creatures large and small as part of a sound and light show, produced by the award-winning creative agency, Novak. The Kanneh-Mason family’s award-winning recording of Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals provides the soundtrack for a spectacular projection created using artwork produced by pupils from Castle, Arbury, St Matthews and Galfrid primary schools during workshops led by community artist Hilary Cox-Condron.
Gather to watch the lions, the fish and the swan as they are brought to life through digital animation.

There are a variety of hot desk areas available across the force where you can work and meet new people or arrange for members of the team to meet and work on a regular basis.
