Dear all
CHEST ALLOCATION INFLATION ASSUMPTIONS:
2023-24: The guidance notes from **** ****** advise that the indicative inflation assumption for 2023-24 Chest allocations is 4.25% growth on 2022-23 figures, As always, the actual allocations won't be final until the Budget Report for 2023-24 is approved in May/June 2023. This is reflected in the financial template for those of you who have been sent it.
2023-25: Departments who are required to submit financial templates (even if a "no change" return) will have seen that the growth assumption input by AFPA for 2024-25 is 2.75%. This is AFPA's indicative figure only, based on the inflation assumptions for pay and non-pay that year, again as in prior year planning rounds (back in the days when we went more than one year ahead).
There is no scope for departments to amend either assumption for Chest income. I would recommend that all departments, whether formally participating in the financial template submissions or not, use these inflation assumptions for Chest income in your own financial forecasts.
If you have any questions about this or any other element of your financial planning, do let me know. All the best

Greetings from Greenwich House, to wherever you are working from today.
The Finance Systems Group is conducting their periodical audit of CUFS users. I will therefore be sending everyone a list of their assigned CUFS responsibilities to check. Or for non-users to confirm that they are still non-users.
I have also (in parallel) been working on an “Access matrix” in order to harvest information on what systems/software/servers/mailboxes/mailing list/subscriptions everyone has access to. This is in order to allow on boarding of new staff to be more efficient and also to decommission things that are no longer used (e.g. old mailboxes)
I have therefore combined the two pieces of work into one request.
So if you could all please look out for my e-mail (today or tomorrow), with your bespoke access table (some already partially populated) and edit as appropriate. That would be very helpful.
Also if you could return by the 24th November, because that is when I need to compile the CUFS part for the audit.
Many thanks for your assistance,
Kind regards,

I presume the "unarmed" element in Greppers' post significantly dampened enthusiasm amongst many potential applicants.
Are they also known as StAirCATT?

Quite. Stansted gets lots of applicants because it offers a lot of the perks of being on an armed unit without a great deal of the risk and ballache.
