Ooh! i bet you're all getting dead excited! The barriers are in little piles on the tyne bridge all ready for sunday, they're laying some sort of red running track along the road near the baltic (is that for the junior race?).

They were also knocking the icicles off the bridge so none fall on yer heeds on the day - thoughtful! ;-)

Now, one of my club has told me that because the course is too much net downhill, this doesn't officially count as a PB if you get it. Anyone else heard this, or is that just guff and bluster?

yeah, i've heard that too. in fact, you've got to be really careful gannin into shileds like cos you'll fall into the sea if yer not leaning back & braking heavily. ;-)

The rules are 1m/1km drop an finish no more than 50% distance away from the start I think.... or was it 30%.... I can't remember!
