I'm hoping for a different time so will be running alone, however we should have a fetch meet-up afterwards. Lots of pubs near the finish AND usually a massive beer tent!

What Pesto says - meet at the F at the reunion point - after that a few usual slope off to the pub together
(or you can do what I do and fill your bag full of cans to drink at the finish so there's no need to go to the pub!)
And ignore what people say about it not being a pb course, I've run a pb every year I've done it and this year I'll be going for one again

that's the spirit Battlecat, the GNR-haters must be used to half mara's with no other runners! It's mostly flat and straight... If someone's good enough to think about pb's, they can run through a crowd.

Hills of Death (HOD)
Hi I'm hoping to run this year not spend over an hour on a packed train down a pint of Guinness then several more with the victorious.
I guess I'll just bin the train bit for a run to South Shields then stagger to North Shields

you're lodging in North Shields HoD? There's a ferry from South to North Shields, only takes minutes. But the later you stay in SSh, the less folks will be on the transport...
