They had shoe chips at Edinburgh marathon that clipped onto your laces and I was convinced I's see loads on the side of the road but pretty much everybody's stayed on OK

Until Wednesday of this week, my photo was on the GNR page about the 30 year history of the GNR. Rottern sods changed the page on Thursday, so I can't point you all in the direction.
Re the timing chips, if we're given velcro straps it'll be ideal, otherwise I just thread it onto my laces.

After missing a penaly in the 1998 Play-Off Final I do not call Michael Gray a celebrity.
Anyway there a 120 of us who have completed all previous GNRs, we're the celebrities - or at least we ought to be.
