I re-read some Pratchetts, Alexander McCall Smiths (in preparation for going to Botswana), some Sara Sheridan historical fiction, David Copperfield and Pride and Prejudice. I probably read at least one Dickens and Austen a year

I need to add Julia to my wish list. I have picked it up several times in a book shop.

Final haul:
* Nigella Bites - Nigella Lawson (it was out of print for a while I think - it's been my 'missing' Nigella for many years)
* Mediterranean- Ben Tish

I think if I finish Network Effect in time it will be 28 books for me. I had a target of 30 but I'm still happy with the amount I've read. I've listened to a lot of audio books (very useful in combating my insomnia!) but they are all re-reads.

I haven't kept a record of my reading this year. I've decided (sorry independent bookshops) that as far as possible in 2025 I'm going to use my own bookshelves as a library. I'm currently working my way through some old green Penguin crime novels - the one I've got on the go at the moment is Police at the Funeral, a Margery Allingham. Apart from the tiny print I'm really enjoying them.
