I was certain I bought the sequel to the Olive book we read about 3 years ago. It's in the app I have ( I scan barcodes of books I buy to stop me buying them twice) Ages ago I couldn't find it well clearing out a cupboard just now and found Olive Again I'm happy will read it soon.

Listening to Severance on audible, about 2/3 in and it’s still not gripping me. The frequent flitting between time periods/memories, makes each story seem a bit “thin”, just as it’s developing, we get taken to another place … doesn’t help having a crap memory either 😒

I've downloaded Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr as my next audiobook. It's not my cup of tea so far, but at least a (not the) Diogenes features.

Made me look (to check the author)! I’m on audible.com, Diogenes, rather than .co.uk., so that’s why I found the book.

I keep looking at the DVD cover for “Severance” on the right thinking that’s the book I should be reading. So many senior moments over this book group 😆

I have got a refund from Audible for Cloud Cuckoo Land (Anthony Doerr), it's absolutely terrible.

I think I'm going to listen to the Rory Stewart book instead.
