I enjoyed Down to the Sea in Ships (and not a chozz on this thread but the Sheep's Tale was great as well) so no embargo on non-fiction from me, but chapters and paragraphs sound appealing too :-)

Dispensing with the drum-roll, yes I have. It will indeed be Watling Street, with the proviso that anyone who has read it already and doesn't want to re-read it should instead take the topmost book from his or her TBR pile, and read that, and report back to the thread with maybe a short (or long) review.
