OK, abstainers so far are LindsD, Fetch and Bint.

What Library book are you talking about, Hanneke?

If anyone wants a recommendation for a Japanese book in translation, I remember enjoying this one:
amazon.co.uk
Only I read it 4 years ago, so I can't tell you much more about it. 🤣

Haven't we talked about that before? As a sort of gold standard for these things?

Are we officially having the train book next month then or is there a Plan B?

That'll be the choosinator's decision. The train book is very much Plan X

So yes Little Nemo your choices of Choosifer are:

Grepples
Maclennane
Hanneke
Columba
The Scribbler
Night-owl
Dio
Quimby
McGoohan
Chrisull
Serendippers
Westmoors

Dip your hand in the lucky dip and pull out one of these likely candidates if you would be so kind.

Wot, me?

On your own head be it. I shall probably take you back to the nineteenth century. But at least it will have chapters, and conversations, and likely be available in a cheapish "classics" edition, and/or readily available from libraries.

Alternatively, as I've already started Watling Street, I could choosinate that; but it's non-fiction, and we usually go for fiction.

Decisions, decisions...
