No. To be honest it's a 'sidequel' or prequel due to That Thing That Happens Near The End. Might library it.

A few pages back (11 Dec), Dio said if he could have had a Bonus Book, it would have been Hawthorn and Child by Keith Ridgway.
The concept of the bonus book came about as I prevaricated about which book to choose... and ended up choosing both. (;-)) Since then, me, Oysterboy and Fetch have been choosinators and have each chosen a main book and a bonus book. It's been a very interesting exercise.
For me, the main book less well received than the bonus book.
Oysterboy, the main book massively better received than the bonus book
Fetch, too early to be sure but they're both scoring very middlingly
Anyroadup, I feel Dio's missed out and we've missed out a bit. So I've cheekily added Dio's Bonus Book over there --> with a linky to buy via Fetch. I've bought it myself and started reading it and I'm very much enjoying it so far (40 pages in). If you find yourself at a loose end, and in need of reading material ... wha-hey, give this a go.

Pedant Alert - there's no 'e' on the end of Hawthorn either. I'm surprised he's not called Kith.
