Has anyone bought The Mirror and The Light yet? Sainsbury's are selling it for £12.99 and I was sorely tempted! But it's enormous and heavy so I fear for my knees if I commute with it

I was wondering about that and whether to read from the beginning though I'm not short of reading material

I got the first 2 on an Audible 2-for-1 offer so I'm planning to listen to them as a refresher. If it's not too long a wait I might hang on for the paperback.

I shall wait for paperback. Hopefully that will coincide with my summer holiday (if I get one). I read Wolf Hall on holiday in 2010 and Bring Up The Bodies in 2013. Can it really be that long ago?

Halfway into This is Memorial Device, lots of reservations and I can imagine it got at best at divided if not hostile set of reviews here (I haven't checked yet, I don't want to influence my own views), but it is kind of fun also, and at the very least has some interesting music names I need to check out, as Keenan's taste in music is eclectic, wideranging (several of the characters are WAY to well informed on music for the 1970s - before the internet, you just wouldn't have known have heard half this stuff), and also the music doesn't compliment the narrative in the same way as say "Morvern Callar" by Alan Warner did (Warner has his main character actually play the songs on headphones/stereo and describes how it affected her). Hope it continues to hold the attention.

Saw The Immortalists on a charity shop bookshelf. Didn’t buy it.
