Not even considering it I've done a couple of those Steve Parr supports and they're bad enough.

Another update from the faRcebook: 2️⃣ DOWN. 1️⃣ TO GO. After completing a brilliant solo & unsupported winter Bob Graham Round (🏴) in December, inov-8 athlete James Gibson has followed it up by completing an equally-brilliant solo & unsupported winter Paddy Buckley Round (🏴). James now hopes - weather-window permitting - to become the first ultra runner to complete a winter hat-trick of Great Britain’s best-known, 24-hour mountain challenges by successfully attempting a solo & unsupported winter Ramsay Round (🏴). The Paddy Buckley Round completion came at the third time of trying for James, whose previous two attempts this season were thwarted by difficult winter conditions. This time, James faced thick cloud during the first half of the 67-mile route, making for tricky navigation. The weather improved thereafter and he completed the 47-peak challenge in 23hrs 02mins. This latest success came seven weeks after James set an incredible solo & unsupported winter record time of 21hrs 12mins for the 66-mile, 42-peak Bob Graham Round. We all wish James the best of luck as he prepares for his Ramsay Round attempt and a shot at ultrarunning history. ❄️🏴🏴🏴❄️ |
