Even if you decide you don't have the time to do it all this time you could base shorter runs on it and use this trip to recce parts of it for the future. Will add some purpose and motivation to outings this time. Go and play and see what you can get out of it.

The "extended" bit is where I want to pick up some stray Birketts enroute - I've never done The Tongue for instance, also I want to be absolutely sure I had the right summit for Little Lingy Hill. If you like it thereabouts then take a look at the LDWA Back O' Skidda route. Slightly longer than the OCR but with scope to take in more summits, a heck of a day out.
