Sep 2007 11:00am, 11 Sep 2007 First-time poster!!	0 I'm doing it. My first one ever so I'll definitely get a PB! TecTurner, I hope the 'steep' above relates to the entry fee and not the course.
TecT Sep 2007 12:09pm, 13 Sep 2007 211 posts	0 TecT Ha! Actually, although Bath is famous for its hills, the course is fairly fast and flat... bigger problem will be the sheer number of runners - Bath is actually more congested than FLM, apparently!

Sep 2007 3:13pm, 16 Sep 2007 First-time poster!!	0 I'm coming up from London for this. First 1/2 marathon, and really looking forward to it. Anyone know any good hotels to stay Saturday night where you can also shower and change afterward before heading back to London Sun eve?

TecT Sep 2007 12:07pm, 17 Sep 2007 236 posts	0 TecT gjc - try Bath Tourist Info - they are really good on hotels etc... visitbath.co.uk Bath also has a good YMCA right in the middle of the town which used to do good overnight accommodation at a reasonable price - not sure if it still does though, you'd need to check in advance.
