nah that wouldn't work they wouldn't be crumbly and would probably go to soft when the chocolate mix is added but the idea of chocolate and orange is nice

yeah you bash the amoretti biscuits and they go in the tin base then add the chocolate mix which is basically chocolate, cream, rum, glucose so moist but it "sets"
then when you serve you turn it out so the crunchy biscuit crumbs are on the top

think they are more stable the amoretti are OK and I'd say ginger nuts are firmer
whereas a jakka cake is cake so would go soft
