Good call about the Cairngorms run :-)G - I've not got the GPS trace for that one either (we have photographic evidence though ;-) ) we should poll the other Fetchies there that day and see if anyone has the GPX file!

Actually scratch that, I've found the traces and put them up as public routes :-)

@Ally-C Did you climb to the highest point on each of those islands? I have Ben Nevis (Britain) and Goatfell (Arran) on my significant islands list. Nothing from my trip to Shetland as didn't climb any hills of note while I was there.

Got you now, I’m a bit thick😀

Does the grey circle round each point mean that you only need to be within that grey radius to claim the point?

Yes, but there has to be a point on your GPS track laid down inside it; sometimes you can miss things like this because the closest points are just outside the circle, even though the line joining them does go through it.

Northern Exile
I'm just looking at the various lists and am curious as to why on Ian's original Wainwright tracker I had all 214 listed as "done" by GPS, however since introduction of multiple lists I'm one down (ie 213). Is it a different location set that's applied? The reason I'm wondering is that the same thing appears to be true of my Birketts and Fellrangers count.

Northern Exile - which one has dropped out?
The original file I sent was 6 digit grid refs converted to lat & long, the second was 10 digit, so slightly different spots. And Fetch may have even replaced those with his mega feed of everthing.

If you let me know the top, I can check the various versions there's been.

About This Thread

Maintained by um
Given the auto bagging recognition developents, first Wainwrights and now all sorts, opening up a thread for general discussion and whatever comes next.

A note from the lawyers : Existence or reference to a point doesn't imply it's necessarily safe or legal to access it.

And hopefully leave the Lake District Lovers thread for Lake District topics.
