Another vote for Stevenage (old town bit is not bad though), i like the organisation around their half but attending and viewing the sites puts me off again for a couple of years. Garden city 10 did that too until i ended up working there and found welwyn gc in not bad in the suburbs.

I dispute that. Welwyn GC is quite pleasant. Stevenage is not pretty but not in the same league as the other monstrous places suggested here. I propose Hemel Hempstead. |
