Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Will have a look when I get an opportunity. There's been a lot going on, every chance I've screwed something.

Just discovered the problem (server log was full of 500 errors) - please try to grab some keys again.

Nutty - to answer your question - the API uses exactly the same code to process the file as if you'd uploaded it manually - so you'll get Conquercise zones, checkpoints, fetchpoint etc. As for splits, is need to look in more detail at what turned up in your log vs what was in the GPX. Feel free to send me feedback if interested, but I don't think it's an API issue.

Yay :-)

The other text-based formats should be pretty easy to add. Will post more updates as I make them.

Would be awesome to see a desktop client capable of importing from a given directory - would help a lot of Garmin users out.

You read my mind Fetch... I've already got a ruby script that uses screen scraping to upload from the Garmin Express directory and hope to get it working with the API.

Talking of Garmin, will you be able to use their API to automatically pull activities straight from Garmin Connect like TrainingPeaks & strava do?

Cheers fetch, good to know my hours of exploration won't go AWOL :) Not too concerned about the splits, just mentioned it in passing. If it still seems to be an issue with GPX uploads, I'll look into it, but will just assume for now TCX output from Ambit is a bit wonky.
