Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Also, well played Wimbledon for allowing the women to wear dark shorts.

I always used to think that the second Monday was a mess at Wimbledon at every player left in the 2 singles draws played, so as to make Tuesday women's quarters and Wednesday the men's quarters, then the rest of the week following similar.

I couldn't remember the year it did change but it's only very recent, and agree it does seem to work better.

This is one thing I hate about Wimbledon - the all-white dress code. Every year when I manage to get a glimpse of Roland Garros, Housemate's head is blown by the fact they wear normal kit - so much nicer and allows a little personality.

Yep, felt so wrong watching other tournaments where they are wearing bright or dark colours.

Not sure I can see them switching the white dress code. It has been adapted-for example to allow small logos, the shorts, and at one point we had lightly patterned tops. But otherwise they do seem a bit more open to modernisation now.

I actually think the women are better served than the men by the white dress code as they’re a so much variety in dress and skirt designs/fabrics/cuts.

Great comeback from Ons Jabeur yesterday, I really thought she’d blown it, she seemed to have lost it mentally so to to come back was amazing. She’s my pick for the title on Saturday.

Only 3 games into the men's final and already Andrew Castle is irritating the crap out of me. UHD is no friend to either player's skin, too ;)

I was hoping to get a decent battle of at least 4 sets. I was a bit disappointed by the women’s yesterday, although the many breaks made it quite exciting it looked at one point like there’d be three sets, then it was over pretty quickly

The way I see it, the longer it goes on the more likely it is Djokovic will win. I think Alcaraz really needed to win that first set to stand a chance, sadly...
