I tried Downwell but I couldn't really get anywhere with it on my phone. I am reliably informed it is brilliant on the PS4, as it runs better and you can time things perfectly, but I haven't tried it myself.

Perfect Organism
Started, and finished, "Gone Home" last night. It was given away free with PSN membership a few months back (one of the few decent games they provide). For those who aren't familiar with it, it's a story based, "walking-simulator" in which you play a character who returns home from a trip abroad to find the family home abandoned. The next couple of hours are taken up exploring the house and figuring out exactly what has happened. I won't give anything away as without the story, the game is nothing, but the tale develops at a steady pace, and is involving, mysterious, and emotional. It took me probably just under two hours to complee. If you like reading, taking your time, and witnessing a plot unfold then I really would recommend it.

Aww, I got given a gift from a work colleague who is a gamer and with whom I chatted a bit about games of... a Steam Gift Code. Don't know how much for, but he recommended Portal and Portal 2 as puzzlers for me to start with. Isn't that sweet?  G

Perfect Organism
I played Portal, but not portal 2. I enjoyed it from what I remember and would recommend it as a challenging, but not excruciating mind bender. Good sense of humour through it too if I remember rightly.

Portal and Portal 2 are amazing. Not only fun to play, but fun to watch - the GLADOS voiceover is brilliant.
