So I've been playing Pokemon Go this weekend.

Since quitting running last February I have become more and more of a recluse - often staying within the confines of my flat from getting home on Friday evening until work on Monday morning.

This weekend I have been out 4 times for walks to catch Pokemon, and to incubate eggs. Today I wondered whether it would be better to run between hotspots (Pokestops) At one point I passed a young couple where one lad was carrying his phone in the same manner as I was - a couple of shifty looks and we realised we were game rivals...

If this keeps up I may actually regain some semblance of fitness. Just need to find a way to plan routes better to hit the important Pokestops and Gyms before my battery runs out...

Ha, nice work Fetch.

Still on Witcher 3. I think that may be a viable quote for the next year. Brilliant game, and so much to do. Or leave completely. That's one of the best thing about the game, it kinda just lets you do whatever you want.

I'm off work this week, and the time-drain that I used to have (Marvel: Avengers Alliance on Facebook) shut down at the end of last month - which has meant I suddenly have lots of time to play other games :)

Disappointed myself by not particularly loving Uncharted (I just don't like the combat) - and wondered whether this would rule out Bioshock and The Last of Us (I'm very aware that these are all old games, but retro gaming is the best way to bag a bargain!)

Also, anyone know of a decent PS4 car racing game?

The combat in the first Uncharted was pretty rough. Last of Us is a much better version of it, in my view. Bioshock was a long time ago, and the later games change it quite a bit so it might be worth a shot.

The best PS4 racing game is Rocket League. By far. But that may not be exactly what you are looking for :-) DiRT is pretty sweet, and I think there is a Trackmania game out for the platform? Those games are really good.

I've got Rocket League, and Trackmania Turbo - neither scratch the right itch (although I like both for different reasons)

DiRT is rallying, right? Might have a look. Any thoughts on Project Cars as I've seen a cheap copy at Game...

Cars was pretty well received, but I haven't played it. Same with the F1 game. I literally haven't touched anything else other that Witcher 3 and Marvel Future Fight in months now.
