Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not really my type of thing, but it looks well put together (good to see some accessibility features as well).

Have I told y’all that me and Link aren’t buddies anymore? The whole ‘breakable weapons’ thing has just got too much for me to cope with.

Crappest game mechanic ever. And that includes the herbs-and-typewriter-ribbons nonsense from RE1

I just finished a game. Talos Principle. Thanks Perfect Organism for the recommendation. First time in ages that I've finished a proper game. 62 hours (probably about 45 mins for a 12 year old!) I like puzzlers and it had a bit of fun with the whole "are you a robot or is there something more going on" story ish thing. I used a walk through twice, out of maybe 200 puzzles.

That was fun. Esp for £10 or whatever I paid! :-) G

Good value :) Glad you enjoyed it! I'll be shelling out for the sequel once it drops in price sufficiently.

GregP I hear you re: breakable weapons in BOTW. It’s not a great mechanism but it hasn’t annoyed me as much as it did you. The open world exploration and the curiosity it rewards is some of the best I’ve seen in video gaming.

Apparently TOTK has a different weapons mechanic that allows you to fuse items to your weapons giving them different properties.

Back to playing Skyrim with all the bells and whistles. It's now possible to fish and there's a whole quest line associated with it. Still haven't actually finished it despite racking up 400+ hours.

It’s fun, but it does get a bit samey after a while.

I've considered it on Switch.
