Finally finished Ori and The Will of the Wisps. The last battle was a right bugger to get through! I really enjoyed it though and the colours and graphics are beautiful.
Now back on Skyrim for a while again…..!

Went to Game to see if I could reserve a copy of Stray for Thursday's release (and possibly preorder God of War: Ragnarok) - but the store was closing - for good - and the friendly assistant advised me that Game were now owned by the odious Sports Direct conglomerate (when did that happen?!)
I want a physical copy of Stray. Where does one buy physical videogames media these days that doesn't put money in Mike Ashley's pocket?

You may have to put money in Jeff Bezos pocket instead. In person or online Currys, smyths and Argos can all be ok. Shop to is a good online alt to Amazon

Trying to avoid Bezos, too, really. I was gutted, to be honest - bobbing into Game to scan the titles has been something I've done since I was young, since they took over Future Zone in Preston. It's how I ended up playing random games such as TimeShock (ProPinball), and Beneath A Steel Sky, and so to see it go to Ashley is a bitter blow.
I know it's how the world is these days - but it felt like a little piece of my childhood died!

No good for new games though.
Plus, the Manchester branch always smells of a mix of unwashed nerd and Lynx Africa...

Found out I get 3 free games a month through Amazon Prime. Suzerain, a politics story game, recommended by a friend. It's great. G

I bought The Fool And His Money recently (the long-awaited follow-up to The Fool's Errand for any 80s Mac puzzle fans). Happily, the game's a one-man show and he sells it directly from his website...

Been playing a bit of Fall guys now its appeared on xbox and switch. Its been on PS and PC for a couple years now I think. Decent pick up and play fun when you don't want to get into something too serious or play for long.
