I’m not convinced about the Raspberry Blitz. I would take a Bavaria shandy in preference

Bavaria shandy sounds like some kind of dubious European sex act

Probably more enjoyable than a Raspberry Blitz

I’m undecided on the raspberry one. I think it would be better on a really hot day. I kind of liked it but it was unexpected. I like sour things but it was all a bit odd. It might grow on me.

Had the Erdinger one last night. Not an experiment I'm likely to repeat, all the flavour of Kaliber, with a frankenhead on it which kept growing. Nasty.

Brewdog Raspberry at £3-60 for four cans in Tesco. Bought eight. I really like it because it is not sweet or tastes of beer

Lent really will be tested over the next few days, away in France for a family holiday and I've actually packed 8xNanny State and 6x Heineken 0.0 so that I can try to stay away from the local red (or even a local beer).
Whether I maintain my other lenten challenge of running at least 2 miles a day remains to be seen...

Moretti last night. (Spotted in a super market I don't usually go to.) It was really nice. A bit more expensive than Becks Blue, but still cheaper than "real" beer! G

Free Damm on the other hand is DAMM good. Probably the nicest one I’ve tried so far. Nicer than most alcoholic lager I’ve had in fact, impressed.
