I read about fodmap, but haven't needed to be quite as extreme. However during my read about everything phase I found useful information here: slhd.nsw.gov.au and monashfodmap.com (though I'm assuming you already know this one) Good luck - hopefully tweaking your diet will help you feel better. I did find that changing diet was hard - felt very rough for about 10 days, then improvements kicked in. |

A close friend followed it last year. One thing she found helpful to remember doing the process was: - this is to identify which food group(s) are problematic to you - you're unlikely to need to follow this forever She concluded that the only thing she needed to completely eliminate was lactose. She also need to limit (but not exclude) the fructose group. You'll probably be different, but hopefully you'll be able to reintroduce at least some of the groups. Good luck! |

Thanks Jen - am.also wondering if lactose is a trigger for me so that will be the first thing I reintroduce. My gluten test has just come.back clear from the doctors so that's one thing sorted too. I also think Tomatoes may be a trigger.... |
