Is that a real incident, or staged for the purposes of road safety awareness? The car would need to have been reversed in, which would make it a very bizarre happening.

Yes, it definitely had to be reversed in.
Maybe a very unsuccessful attempt at a three-point turn when someone realised that Bromham definitely wasn't where they wanted to be?
