Good to hear. I tell my GF that running with her as she plods around at 10:00 pace is exactly what I'm looking for - and she doesn't believe me!

Quite possibly, but at the stage we're at with her at the moment, I think the benefits of her just being out running outweigh those of any pace considerations. We're talking all the way around her little loop so she isn't going crazy.

One of the first things I learnt through Fetch was that I was running most of my training runs too fast - it was a revelation and saw the start of a dramatic improvement in my race times!

I think that was the beginnings of my problems last night, I was trying to get them, like th emiddle group last week, to run slower, both in their hill reps and recoveries, properly closer to 10k-HM pace for the shorter reps, but I think they all latched onto the word "slow", as well as the mis-counting, technique and everything else. I probably said too much.......

It's hard at times WS isn't it? I am amazed by how many times I have to repeat instructions some nights. Mind you I can't count when I run either...

it was everything, for some reason it was a huge group, 25 or so. Over complicated session, possibly, talked about too many things, pace, arms......drawing board.
When I ran the session meyself after, apart from having to warm up again, I was freezing), it worked out at 5km, 50% of hill running (1.5k fo warm up, 4 * 150m down, 2 *300 down, 4* 150 up, 2* 300 up, 1.5k of warm down), it was just about spot on for them....
however it always is in my head....
