MaltDrinker 30 Nov 4:46pm, 30 Nov 2024 199 posts	0 MaltDrinker It is a nice touch @Papa Whiskey Had a great time at Crathes parkrun today, fantastic atmosphere with kilts, tartan, Claymores, a piper who ran playing! and lots of Scottish delicacies at the finish line, including a nip of Drambuie! Don't know why I have left it so long to do this parkrun, as I loved the route, even if it is a tough one. I'll certainly be back.

This was on account of a niggle which developed into a pain, which progressed to "oo-er, my leg is about to collapse underneath me". At this point it seemed like a good idea to stop and walk for a bit. Resumed running slowly and cautiously a few minutes later.

I plodded out just three miles but that, plus the dog walk, plus the walk to and from the stop for the Gloucester bus (I wanted to do Christmas shopping at the Quays) plus said shopping, has clocked up very nearly 25000 steps, so it's been quite an active day!
