I did York parkrun for the second time in two weeks. This time as it was the only one at all nearby that was on. Was cold and wet and slushy and at several points my calves decided that walking was better but I felt good for having done it.

And afterwards I found two parkrunners in tne co-op trying and failing to call for a taxi (none for over an hour) so I gave them a lift 😊

Aw Idris - runners really are awesome people heart

I had a *very* unexpected start to my shift involving trying to keep somebody's blood inside their body instead of all over the pavement, worked all night, picked up a friend on the way to Felixstowe parkrun where we were sandpapered quite effectively by the wind, then got in the sea for five minutes before repairing to a cafe for tea and sausages.
After that, perhaps unsurprisingly, I went home and put the electric blanket on and slept all afternoon.

Hadleigh 10 tomorrow. Traditionally it's wet and windy - I'm wishing it breaks that but not with any degree of hope!

Crikey Carp. Hope tomorrow is fun :-)

I am pleased I managed my 80 minute garmin run (plus warm up and warm down) - didn't do the optional 15 minutes. It was very wet and also windy on the way back.
