Not because of the terrain, because of all the "encouragement" I had to give to @Carpathius 😈 Well done on the 400 parkruns ×2 - just another 2 years and you can get a new T-shirt! It takes a good degree of dedication to get to such numbers but I do think that parkrun is a brilliant thing because it's a great leveller - times are basically irrelevant, but persistence pays off.

Seemingly heard the path was specially put in the plans of the house builder round the new estate as he was a runner and a keen parkrunner so it was made into a 5k doable loop

Papa Whiskey 27 Oct 1:05am, 27 Oct 2024 25 posts	0 Papa Whiskey Before you all give Carp too much sympathy, bear in mind that her room is on the ground floor and mine involves 61 steps up (and more importantly, down) We have very limited cold water, so when the shower is set to anything other than boiling it just cuts off. There's a reason it's a cheap hotel!
