I'll confirm that the last 10k of Beachy was tough... Not because of the terrain, because of all the "encouragement" I had to give to @Carpathius 😈 Well done on the 400 parkruns ×2 - just another 2 years and you can get a new T-shirt! It takes a good degree of dedication to get to such numbers but I do think that parkrun is a brilliant thing because it's a great leveller - times are basically irrelevant, but persistence pays off. |

Parkrun was hard on the chest and hip but a lovely course and such a gorgeous day. Seemingly heard the path was specially put in the plans of the house builder round the new estate as he was a runner and a keen parkrunner so it was made into a 5k doable loop |

I love that LG! I wish the developers round here would do such a course, it might make up a teeny tiny bit for losing our fields.

@Papa Whiskey, you are a git. My hotel room has no hot water. Took me three attempts to wash in the cold shower. I'm still shivering. And very cross. |

Oh, Carp, that is really awful. Not sure what is worse - the lack of hot water or Papa Whiskey. at least one can get a good kick up the arse, if you've enough strength left in your legs.

Well done Carp & PW. I’d be asking for a room change if no hot water. I hate being cold. Well done LG & RRR on 400 parkruns. Awesome achievement. Wouldn’t want to imagine how many cuppa’s LG has had after those 400! 😁 |

Depends on company that day @KimCanRun . We were just speaking today about the time Shondo and I visited 3 of cafe’s in the beach retail park after one of our parkruns 😂😂 and got home about 4pm.

Before you all give Carp too much sympathy, bear in mind that her room is on the ground floor and mine involves 61 steps up (and more importantly, down) We have very limited cold water, so when the shower is set to anything other than boiling it just cuts off. There's a reason it's a cheap hotel! |
