Thanks Carp. I kind of think i might risk fading away from Fetch entirely if I give the 700 thread up now, but if anyone fancies taking over for next year, that would be great! I do miss reading blogs its just the list is so long, and i am so behind and distracted by other things, i'm afraid to start. Once i do start though, i'll feel much more like my old self, its just waiting it out

Art'noon all! Back at the seaside, sitting in the sunshine in my back yard and drinking a cup of tea kindly made by OH. We really are lucky sometimes. On Monday when we drove up the M5 we missed being caught in an hours-long closure due to a 'concern for welfare' incident, and this morning the AS police were just closing off the carriageways for the same reason as we drove south. I believe it's still closed now, several hours later. Obviously I'm desperately sorry for the person in such a state; but I do wonder if the police have the right approach with wholesale closure and apparently just sitting it out. People are missing hospital appointments and so on - what about their welfare? |

LD, they may be a danger to others. I hope it is all resolved safely, soon.

Evening gonks. I did something a bit different with my run today. A nice easy 4.5 mile run, then I changed the watch over to km, and did 7 x 100m efforts with 100m recovery walks. Trying to keep training interesting and I really, really enjoyed it. Did it down by the canal path so a nice place to go up and down seven times lol.
