I went to the lido and had a lovely little dip for all of 5 minutes or so - the water temperature was 3.3* so I think that's not bad. I had the entire pool to myself at one point, but when some others got in I couldn't help noticing that I was the only one not in skins! I was supposed to be going out tonight to a comedy club/alternative book group thing in a pub in town, but I think I've picked up a cold at choir last night and have decided not to share my germs with my friends

Good to see progress, am definitely fitter and faster. Then a phone call with my mum, dad's alzheimer's is getting worse. I'm off to see them again on Friday. May do Southsea parkrun as it's a quick course.
