Went for a run this morning - was going to be an intervals run. Had a few minutes warm up and then upped the pace a little and my left calf decided that wasn't fun. It didn't actively twang but didn't want to run.

Walked back home along by the river and because I'm daft decided to go the route behind the back of our house which is very overgrown so I now also have nettle stings.

Went out for 5 miles but struggled through a 5k before I gave up. Legs are so sore and just didn’t want to play.

Nearly an hour done tonight, in fine summer rain: running club's slow-and-gentle group. Intervals, hills and walk breaks. Intervals and hills don't sound very gentle, but the walk breaks were frequent and prolonged.
