I got a surprising amount of gardening done before the rain came :-) Although I have no DOMS after Saturday's 16 miles my legs are still feeling a bit tired so a second rest day hasn't been a bad idea (if you can call digging out ivy and brambles, and digging holes for a couple of new plants, a rest day!)

Hi gonks. I've been a bit awol trying to get new studio sorted.

I have a question. We are looking for a 10K race, not a hilly one, one we can have a crack at a good time at. Thinking somewhere we can go for a weekend and do a parkrun tourist trip the day before. Any suggestions??

Theres the run through series Som and you could have a nosey round battersea park power station. Not really a destination place though runthrough.co.uk

Morning! Som, there's a 10k in Gloucester in June - entrycentral.com - I've not done it but it's likely to be pretty flat and fast. A number of parkruns locally to choose from too.

Had a run. Is rather foggy out this morning.

Think I need a race to motivate me other than bug squashing and who squares wins. Maybe a 10k one although I’m not sure
