Well that's a month of running regularly since restarting middle of June. I've run three times a week each week, and have added an extra run this week. First couple of weeks 2.5 mile runs, then 3 mile, now 3.7 mile, except for today when I did the 2.5 mile with an attempt at a virtual mile time in the middle. Delighted: I'd set my target on the virtual mile for this month to 8:30. Running hard to feel today I did 7:54  . Ironically, I've just been awarded the checkpoint 2 badge of the 2022 virtual challenge - which just goes to show where I've been with my running the last 18 months! |

Slow 5k trying to get my bearings in the new area. Found some lovely gardens attached to the local college which were empty apart from me, some rabbits and some foxes.

Nice work ITG, TR & Paula. Icy Turkey Guzzler 🇮🇸 - tattoos! That's what we need!! Moooooo, that sounds really positive. I got out for a run tonight, an easy 30 minutes or so was the plan....that was fine until a lad decided we should race. He was ace. But not fast enough. I was shouting "you're not fast enough, come on" and we had a good sprint! Finished at a junction of a road - thought his mum might be a bit annoyed if we carried on and into the road. Also, I was knackered. I pretended I was always that fast, hi-5'd him and jogged on pretending that I wasn't jelly legged / absolutely knackered. Then I ate pizza. For the second night on the trot. Had eaten healthily before and ran so I reckon it balances it out. Kind of. |
