Tough but interesting run* up the hills. I came across this rather fierce fort and did not dare enter! Nearby wss a compound with guard wolves (seriously).



Here is the view looking down.


And here is the fort viewed from about half way down again - which gives a sense of the climb (am baby about hills)


*lots of walking and grunting

JJ, it sounds like you should get yourself booked in for a massage for those calves.

I've decided not to run after all with this little cough thing. It's not bad but I don't want to aggravate it, especially as I need my massage on Friday.

Went to the dentist, expecting to have crown preparation. Ended up getting my (admittedly needed) front tooth filling redone. So have the numb nose feeling and as I get older it seems the anesthetic affects me more ie makes me want to fall asleep.

Did have a walk when I got back though.

Afternoon all. Finally got some miles on the clock today, but have reset my target to 500 miles which is more achievable I think, without having to consciously run to a set target.

Anyway, I now have an hour's downtime before school run and Turtle's swimming lessons. Firmly back to normal today!
