Running club takeover at parkrun this morning. I’m pacing, which is not something I’ve done before so I’m very slightly nervous :)

Morning. I’ve paced a couple of times and enjoyed it - a very slow pace! Off for a solo run this morning before meeting friends for coffee.

Morning all. parkrun tourism fit he this morning.
I love pacing. The secret is to pace a time a good 2 mins slower than your current "flat out" time. That means you can concentrate on your pace and the people around you and not worry about yourself.

Thanks, I went for 34 which is 3 mins slower than my current best 5k but it’s still a couple of minutes a mile faster than my long run pace so I kind of wish I’d gone for 36 instead. :)

Morning! Off to Exmouth parkrun this morning. On my way home I need to look for an automatic car wash - coming down the motorway on Thursday covered the car in a thick coat of muck and the windows and headlights desperately need cleaning off.
