Morning! Foot seems to be okay this morning after yesterday's run. Will try again tomorrow and see if it is still behaving. Hugs to everyone who needs them. (()) |

I have (whisper it) yoga at lunchtime but it all depends on bloody Russia. I kid you not, I am working 3-4 hours every day just on the Ukraine invasion and was already behind from the 4 days I lost last week. I am trying to be professional and keep it all in perspective (it's only my worklife, not my real life, unlike the millions directly caught up in the shitstorm) but I lost it yesterday when 185 Russian university rectors posted a statement in support of the war, Putin, and expressing the role of universities "to instill patriotism among young people, the desire to help the motherland." I have a meeting at 10am with my counterpart at one of these universities. She opposes the war but of course cannot say so publicly. We have a joint student research project and I am trying to find a way to save the students' work while keeping everyone safe but not in any way showing support for the institution itself. Yes, I do know this is all very, very small fry given what is happening in Ukraine. |

It sounds stressful ITG. I have run, but it's not imported and I am now at work (with my phone) and my Garmin is at home so I can't sync until much later today. Now that really is small fry!

Truly hope this gets resolved soon. Is heart breaking for all the Ukrainians. Boiler guys have been here all morning. Hopefully they are on the home straight and new boiler will be up & running soon. |

I managed a gingerly 3k. Very slow and cautious. Good for my mental health if nothing else. I might attempt 5 tomorrow. |

Well done ITG. I managed a reluctant 5k - head definitely feels better for it. Its bizarrely warm out there this evening. Have got so used to nearly freezing every time I go out it got me completely by surprise! |
