Yes well done everyone!
AL I crashed at about 10 miles on my post-lockdown half. I wondered if it was simply lack of proper endurance training.

I've held off reporting in from my race, until I knew GF was OK. Round Sheffield Run is a brilliant event but we both had nightmares.

My run was awful, I felt sluggish, full of hayfever and took a fall at 10 miles in, few small grazes but knocked the wind out of me (it's 20K running timed, over a total of just under 15 miles). You dab in and out of each section on the route. Was expecting around 1:50 for the 20K but was 2:02.

Finished and GF Sal (who set off in a wave one hour before) had to pull out 8 miles in as she felt dizzy and sick and had pins and needles all up her right side. I've just collected her from A&E after she'd been there for hours. Has had lots of tests and they just think she's under stress, which makes sense as she's changed jobs (after 20 years at the old one), we've had builders in for 4 weeks and there's some family crap going on.

Just glad she's OK. I'm pissed off about my run but will get over it. :-P moon
