From years of experience, all I can add, besides time, is physio/ultrasound, rest, aftrer how ever many weeks, do a few more weeks of s l o w running to build muscles back up gradually. And I feel a bit guilty with a dry but gusty 6 miles, route planned so most of the wind against was in woods. Plus a bit of county line running, if that's legal? ie all you can see from the edge of the field is Hampshire. We live in Wiltshire, so 'staying local' means not crossing that hedge/treeline! We skirted the border, but stayed legal! Woods providing shelter from the wind And very strong pungent garlic ... one of the smells of spring

It's a very frustrating place to be but rest is a massive help even when it doesn't feel like it. I had a good first half of a 5k this morning (of my RtS) but was really glad to get a must-take video call then to give me a breather The second half was a bit slower but even so I was pleased with the first couple of miles' pace.

Half an hour's walk in pouring rain. I mean, that's my today's exercise. Not recommending it to anyone else, particularly.

I'd forgotten all about it. Apparently it will happen on 20th May. As that's the week we can start having have people to stay overnight, and my birthday week, we may be in Devon but if not, I can look forward to 'challenging hills, beautiful views and amazing woodland and MUD….' Could you pop it in the siderer please Dipps?
