Horror in the bathroom. This is as far as I got and even that involved some screaming.

Dont be deceived. It is ENORMOUS. At least as big as a 20p piece

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
ITG I amazed myself the other day when for the first time in my life I had the courage to put a spider I had trapped under a glass outside, it was easily as big as yours!

Lovely 5 miles done, warmer than I expected and I detoured along a different part of the river.

Meeting up with a friend for a walk this afternoon, not too far away but hopefully not too many people about when we get there and not done since last year some time.

Carpathius
At about 1:15 this morning, I was juuuuust drifting off to sleep when there was some squawking and commotion in T1's room. I rutted, but then there was more so I investigated.
It was a spider right above her head and Mr Carp was trying to catch it. I caught it (normally I just scoop them up by hand but this was a big false widow) and took it outside to the shed.
T1 was in hysterics and took some calming down.

Got up early to run Didnโ€™t happen. Far too windy.

Have done a birthday drop off visit. My mum is 60 today. Bit disappointing the weather didnโ€™t allow sitting out in the garden.

So think the rest of the day will be a lazy one.

Afternoon all! 'Busy' morning (that is so not the right word but you probably know what I mean): out for a 5k-ish run after breakfast, looking for things to photograph for our club treasure hunt (I have unashamedly pinched some Fetchie ideas), got very distracted by looking at wildflowers, back in time (just) for core team Zoom, shower, then parkrunners Zoom (I think we had about 20 people show up, which is OK but out of 500 parkrunners it might say something about people having more than enough Zoom in their lives right now ;-) ) Then printed off a template for making face masks so I have one to wear when I go and see my Mum on Monday. Early lunch now.
We've had some really hefty rain showers this morning so I hope all our walkers and runners are staying dry!

Carps family is very brave.

I was brave too but then ANOTHER appeared in the tv room when I was vacuuming and ANOTHER came in the back door. My nerves are completely shot.
