I haven’t run. I’m waiting for a couple of things to happen. I really wish they’d happened earlier.

Very hot here, 25 - 29 depending who you believe.
So we settled for a walk ... got distracted by deer, naturally, all very skittish and hiding in the woods rather than their normal open places.
A few mins stalking ...

And at the end, a little detour. Would not want to be chased.

CStar that's so sad. On our club FB page we've (again) gone through all the ways you can make sure someone knows where you are when you go out running on your own. There are so many options - Garmin Livetrack, Whatsapp location sharing, strava etc etc. For a second or two's effort at the start of your run it could save your family a huge amount of worry.

Yes it was pretty horrible. We'll have a memorial run for her once we can all run together again.

That's incredibly sad CStar :( I hope Mr Morris is found safe.
Lovely pictures as always um.

Did you get to go Dio?

I went swimming in my secret-ish spot (photos on social media showed my favourite spot was absolutely heaving). It was bliss.

5ish miles today. Despite the heat it was lovely.

I’ve started counting people with masks and comparing those who are wearing them correctly vs incorrectly. Today was 6 - 1 in favour of correct. First time it’s been that way round. Yesterday was 9 - 5 in favour of incorrect. (Most incorrect just have it round their chin with mouth and nose uncovered).

Does anyone know if the virtual Fetch races are happening this weekend as well as last weekend? Our club are doing a team marathon challenge. I've been drawn to do 5 miles so thought I would have a crack at a time. Each team has someone drawn to do 2,3,4,5,6 and 6.2 miles. GF got two miles. The jammy monkey. :-)

Lots of activity here today, nice running everyone and Carp, were you swimming in skins? I might try to get to the beach and have my first paddle of the year in the next few days.

I went out at 5 o'clock and decided to do an interval session as per the Joker one already loaded on my watch. I thought I'd aim for 11mm on the intervals and was really pleased to see I was pretty close on most of them. Looks like I may be on the comeback trail. :)
