Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh dear. Missed lots again.
Happy birthday SW cake
Hope the dog biopsy result is ok x
luck for the endoscopy
Glad no broken bones and that spa break sounded lovely
Oooh camping at Windermere, sounds fantastic!
The only tech advice I can ever give is have you tried switching it off and back on again?!!

Sooooo.....got an email last night saying I am allowed to enter the summer Spine Flare (you have to apply to be allowed to apply...!). I only applied because my sister said she was going to, but now she's announced she's going to do the winter challenger instead (nutter). I don't know that I want to do it on my own. Also it's more than twice the distance I've ever done before (106 miles, but a fairly generous 60hr limit). And it's damned expensive. Buuuuuuut..... tempted. Does anyone have a magic crystal ball to consult?!!

I'd love to have a go at the Flare - but not this year - are any other Fetchies registered?

My garmin did that too a few weeks ago, I think getting a satellite lock fixed it.

I'm not recommending running/walking/crawling 106 miles to anyone. Except maybe Bint. Sound totally mental to me. So ideal for Bint. But not us humble mortals.

Where is Ms Bint these days? Haven't seen her about for a bit.

Glad nothing was broken Dipps - hope the pain eases soon.

Oooh, Yumee, The Flare, how exciting - my initial response was 'Do it, do it, do it' but if you really would rather do it with someone else then maybe best to leave it for another year? If you've met the criteria for entry this year - surely you would again? Or do the winter one with your sister?! :-O

The go outside/satellite lock-on seems to have done the trick, thanks. Bit annoying but at least it was getting me somewhere early rather than late!!

That's a relief, Dipps :-)

That's good Dipps, hopefully the soft tissue injury will heal soon.

I would love to do it Yumee, but not this summer - way, way too much on!
