I heart Alan Rickman, so sad he died so young :-(
I also heart Heinzster's comment - well worth searching out!

Well done runners and racers. Legs are a bit achey after this morning's 4.5mls (it felt like hard work .. but it really shouldn't have). No feet up on the sofa for me though - in the kitchen at the moment cooking our Sunday roast - feet up later! :-)

Such as a scene in which Mortiana tells Alan Rickman that she's his mother :-o

I had a nice morning. I had a gentle 2 mile run from home to Preston Park, where I marshaled at the Preston Park Juniors parkrun.
A quick cup of tea in the cafe afterwards & then I ran a hilly 9 miles back home via Hollingbury & Patcham.
As I neared home ,I was thinking how nice it would be to get indoors, have a soak in the bath & then an "Old man's half hour" on the settee. Alas, the best laid plans.
When I got indoors the two grandchildren where there. I'm even more worn out now.
Still, I should sleep well tonight.

Afternoon.

Well done holburnmum. 4 miles is a great achievement. Hope you’re on the mend.

I managed 12 miles. Blister stayed pretty much at bay. But a short but sharp edged toenail made its presence known 10 miles in. And have a bruised toe after stubbing it on Friday. So pleased I made it to the end!

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
